WOW...no words, just...wow.

A while back Antmo of WHA added me on Myspace and realized "omg this dude has a clothing line!". I was impressed mostly because of his age. I can respect anyone with drive and ambition, but its the younger ones that really get me. Around this age, most kids are only interested in dumb, immature things rather than looking toward their future, so to own your own business while in high school, I can tip my hat to that one.

InRehab: So you're obviously pretty young, how old are you?
Antmo: im 16

InRehab:When did you decide that fashion was the career path for you?
Antmo: when i was around 12 or 13, i was around people who was into making clothes and at the time i wanted to be like a little gangsta and shit but luckily thear ways rubbed off on me. I first started off by like using lil tubes of fabric paint from walmart and doing some shit on some jeans and call it a day but over the years i evolved into the whole streetwear / skateboarding culture and i love it because it really represents who i am so i want to work in the field because this is basically my life.

InRehab: What influences your style? Any deisgners/clothing lines that inspire you?
Antmo: My style is influenced by many things majority sk8boarding though, im in to the slim, cut to fit type shit, and im astounded by new things and i take it and make it more me. Some of the designers and lines that inspire me are the hundreds, crooks and castles, 10 deep and local stores that are into graffiti, urban streetwear, skateboarding and so on.


InRehab: How do you manage to balance having a clothing line and the everyday duties of being a teenager?
Antmo: truthfully i really dont know, im just very straight forward and i set a whole lot of goles with time periods, like there been plenty of times while in class ill be like sketching and shit and fuck around and have detention and ill be in detention doing the same thing i got it for...lol... i mean life is what it is and majority of the time im either thinking or talking about my line because its basically me, so i guess i can say its natural.

InRehab:How would describe the line and your personal style?
Antmo: uuuuuhhhhhh.... i have to say its real, all around its real, lol theres not much i can say about it because like thats not me i dont walk around acting like a fuckin fashionista or a fonzy bcus thats not me... so i mean yeah REAL would have to def be my description for my line and personal style.

InRehab: What's your main goal to reach for the clothing line?
Antmo: My main goal is to just make it... open up some stores and have my life relate to others and the future us and let them know that theres mor out here...and what challenge the sterio types

InRehab: What's the meaning behind the name of the line?
Antmo: The name of My line is White House Apparrell or White House 410 w.e but if you dont know my real name is Anthony White so it basically came together perfectly.. i wanted to have me in the name some way some how so it just flowed together perfectly.


InRehab: Any advice for other upcoming designers out there?
Antmo: Umm my advice to upcoming designers is, do this because you want to, dont do it because you want that rep or because you see others do it and you want to follow, when whole time the ones your following are some fuckin posers there self. Be real, thats whats missing in Fashion in general today...its not real anymore,just about every line out here is worrying about Money when its not about that, in my opinion this is how i express myself, just like how Common uses poetry to express him and i use designin as mine. SO be real and be you

Lawd fadah! I haven't posted in what seems like (and is) an eternity. But I'm gettin back into swing of things and whatnot. IN OTHER NEWS! After a hiatus that seemed far longer than it really was, everyone's favorite borderline insane bundle of musical genius has done it again! I saw it in her Facebook status along with a warning that said "This song has caused a few wrecks". ...so. true. I got into such a murder-y mood after the first time I listened to it.
